Public Health Education Council, New Delhi Provides distance education Program/regular program of Doctor of Medicine in Alternative Medicines (M.D.A.M ) for qualifide and experienced Doctors / Practitioners to provide them skill and knowledge about different modalities of Alternative Medicines.

Course Duration : One year
Eligibility : Any Registered Medical practitioner.
MBBS, BAMS, BHMS, BUMS, BSMS, BNYS, BPT, etc.
Total Fees : [Course Fee + Council Registration] :Rs. 25000/-
Medium of Instruction : English/Hindi

Legal Status :

Naturopathy & Yoga, Acupuncture and Hypnotherapy are duly Approved, Recognized and Recommended by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, Govt. of India as per Letter no. R-14015/25/96-U&H(R)(Pt.) dated 25-11-2003.

The propagation and practice of the various systems of alternative medicine is absolutely legal and in accordance with the constitution of India under Article 19(1)/(g).

Successful and Trained Student of this Council can Practice and profess the various systems of Alternative Medicines. Registration / Permission from Medical Council of India (MCI) is not required to practice Alternative System of Medicines as per their letter no. MCI-34(1)/96-MED/10984.

Study Material : Lessons covering different subject such as Philosophy (A.M), Diet & Nutrition, Health & Hygiene, Naturopathy & Yoga, Method of Diagnosis and Alternative Therapy will be sent you by the council through post.
General Information

The complete application form along with Self attested xerox copy of Degree / Diploma/Experience Certificate, Address proof, Aadhaar Card, four passport size photographs, and total fees in form of Demand Draft (DD) in favour of “Public Health Education Council” Payable at Delhi, should reach to Public Health Education Council within the stipulated Date.
